Community Alert System includes all “emergency” alert messages sent by voice and text, with unlimited (whether emergency or non-emergency) Email and Social Media messaging.

Quickly communicate with the appropriate parties about emergency events, or for non-emergency communication about those events (PTA meetings, athletic events, cultural events, etc.) the recipient may “opt-in” to receive.
For communication with attendees at a specific, time-defined event, such as an athletic event (football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc), entertainment event (concert, theatre, etc.), business event (Trade show, convention, etc.). Attendees can text a key-word (Client-defined) to a SMS Text short code that will add them to a notification list for the duration of the event. Notification list can be used to send emergency or non-emergency text messages (voice also available) to the list participants to provide instructions in case of an emergency, or for non-emergency communications such as parking instructions, event agenda, etc.
For internal, real-time, two-way communication with internal staff
communicate by text, email and 2-way pager. The Communication Desk has two optional modules:
- Internal Communications Center – For real-time, two-way communication with individuals and/or groups, with a command center console that provides the ability to monitor and track the two-way communication.
- Staffing Communication Center– Automates the filling of open shift or staffing requirements. When the appropriate number of positions has been filled, the system stops sending and generates a report of who is going to be filling the open position(s).

The Master Account will have “Parent” oversight control of contact lists and alert messages, while giving Sub-Accounts a “Child” level control over their own individual contact lists.
Geographic Information System– Rapid Notify can help you deliver emergency notification alerts to precise locations quickly and effectively. Our Geographic Information System (GIS) provides targeted mass notification inside specific, user-defined geographic areas.
IPAWS (Integrated Public Alert and Warning System)– IPAWS provides an internet-based capability for federal, state, territorial, tribal, and local authorities to use in order to issue critical public alerts and warnings from a single portal to multiple communication pathways such as the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS).
